CSG Employees/Contractors- A menace on our roads!
The afternoon of Friday 16th March could have been a horrific day for several drivers just outside of Chinchilla.
A Kelly Group vehicle (A contractor of one of QGC’s contracors)was driving in a dangerous manner, tailgating not only my vehicle as i headed to Chinchilla to pick up my children, but the QGC vehicle in front of me.
After not bothering to overtake while it was safe to do so, the IDIOT driver(there is just no other polite word to describe him), decided to overtake the QGC vehicle, across unbroken white lines into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
Both vehicles, in trying to avoid a head on collision, headed for the side of the road, almost colliding yet again.
Fortunately, no accident occured. It could have been a horrific day on our roads all because of one persons stupidity!
I have spoken to QGC, and they are still investigating the matter!
Every week i travel the road between Tara and Chinchilla, and ALWAYS see inappropriate behaviour by CSG employees/contractors.Whether it be going through the give way sign on the one lane bridge, or cutting corners, or even having other vehicles run off the road in order to avoid an accident with a CSG company vehicle.
I do believe Origin are still in dispute over an accident believed to be caused by one of its contractors running a vehicle off the road.
It is time for ALL CSG companies to get tough on their emloyees/contractors and have a zero policy on innappropriate conduct!
We already face extra risks on our roads due to the increase of CSG vehicles, without adding stupid reckless behaviour to the mix!
