Part 2: Treachery and Deceit!
It appears even QGC local managers have had their reputations undermined and compromised by British Gas Management. QGC local managers and DEPT mines officials had been given a verbal undertaking by BG that their would be no more activity on the residential estates, and that the estates were now a no go zone, and having already passed this information on to residents it appears that perhaps this was just a ploy by BG to have the local managers gain the trust of landowners, and then they come in and walk all over not just the residents, but their own people.
All this has only just come to light as residents were sent letters stating the intention to further develope the Codie gas field into a full fledged coal seam gas developement, and arranging for land consultants to meet with land owners.
Obviously Deceit and Treachery is the name of the game, and British Gas dont care who they “frack up’ along the way!!!
