THEY”RE BACK!!!
QGC have returned to work today. The spidertrencher has been spotted on our side of Wieambilla Road.
When our residents stopped on the side of the road to take a photo, security turned up from everywhere.
It would seem you cant even stop on the side of the road and take photos anymore…….what happened to Australia being a free country???
Its pretty sad when the mining companies can even impact on residents taking a simple photo!
Who gave contol of our basic human rights to the mining companies???
There has been a police presence throughout the estate this morning while QGC moved their equipment back in, with the mobile command centre seen in at the Tara police station this morning and again this evening.
BASECAMP is becoming quite busy, with a return to planning many different strategies.
We are calling on our supporters to come out to BASECAMP, or come out to our Lock the Gate/Rock The Gate Festival this weekend and let’s show these people we are committed to WINNING this fight, and we will be here for as long as it takes!
