We hired a helicopter again to do more reconnaissance work today.
Our number 2 camera man turned a lovely shade of green at about 6000ft, and if possible even worse when the pilot told them they were literally falling out of the sky.
Video footage (soon to be uploaded to Youtube) shows the destruction we are trying to avoid in the residential estates, and how this area is starting to look like the gas fields in America.
QGC have sent out more propaganda in the mail, telling residents how good they are to the community.
As QGC near Wieambilla Road, we are expecting the government will waste more resources and send out the Tactical Response Unit again, perhaps to eat more sandwiches provided by QGC and to arrest some more great grandmothers, all the while allowing QGC to get away with more violence upon residents.
Hmmmm………Perhaps we should get a few bodyguards?
MEANWHILE BACK AT BASECAMP
Morale is quite high and all were excited to see dear old Barry, who dropped in to offer support. It was a great reunion, having not seen him for a while.
So as we sit around the camp fire after having quite the feast (cooked not by TROY, but Narelle), we had a few laughs and thankfully the mutual admiration fire building society weren’t very vocal tonight!!!
